Best. Day. Ever.
It seems like most of the best days I have had during my
teaching career are centered on hard work followed by great success.
One of my greatest days ever was when a 'light bulb' clicked
on for a Kindergarten student who was really struggling with reading. We had worked every day, for 80 days, on
letter names and sounds and she just wasn't getting it.
Finally, I saw the light bulb turn on one day. The proud look on her face and the joy she
exuded will stick with me forever.
Hard work pays off not only for teachers, but for
students.
This was my best day ever.
