Best Day In Education

I have been blessed with many great days in education.  As a band director, my bands and I had to prepare for many performances throughout the years.  It never failed as I handed out new music for the first time, the students would always say they weren't going to be able to play it.  "It's too hard!",  "It's too fast!" and comments of the like were sure to fill the room.   My best days in education were when the music came together.  When the students faces would literally light up as they heard for themselves the beautiful music they were creating!  They got it!  No lecture of any kind could show them better that not giving up and working hard will allow you to reach your goals.
