Best Day in Education

 One of my best days in education was when I taught 1st grade, it was actually just last year.  One of my students came in with exciting news that his mom had just had his baby brother!  He was so excited.  I asked him what they named the baby and he said it's baby Kinney!   I said wait what is his first name?? And he said Kinney!  I later ran into his mom and sure enough they named their baby after me, Mr. Kinney.  The family always has a special place in my heart now, I can't imagine any greater honor than someone to name their baby sibling after me.   It just goes to show that we can touch our students lives deeper than we realize or know sometimes.   Here are the most popular baby names from 2017: 2017 Baby Names
